Description

Beverly’s is a craft cocktail bar and made-from-scratch pizza restaurant at 401 N 6th Street in Kansas City’s Strawberry Hill neighborhood, opened in 2025 by Andi Ryan and her sister Denise Whiteman. Andi Ryan is a Strawberry Hill native — she grew up in the neighborhood and built her career in Kansas City’s craft cocktail world before coming home to open her own bar on the same streets she grew up on.¹

Ryan’s cocktail background runs through two of KC’s most important bar programs: Manifesto (the nationally recognized speakeasy that helped establish KC as a serious cocktail city) and J. Rieger & Co. (Kansas City’s historic distillery revival). The cocktail program at Beverly’s carries that pedigree forward in a neighborhood setting: every drink is named after a dog owned by the owners’ friends and family members, grounding the otherwise serious craft program in the warmth and specificity of a neighborhood bar.¹

The pizza program is made from scratch, pairing with the cocktail focus to make Beverly’s a full-service evening destination on Strawberry Hill’s emerging independent bar and restaurant corridor.

Andi Ryan grew up in Strawberry Hill — the historic Croatian and Eastern European neighborhood on KCK’s bluffs above the Missouri River — and shaped her career in Kansas City’s craft cocktail scene through roles at Manifesto and J.
