Chambre Coffee is a Westport specialty coffee shop opened in May 2025 by Joseph Ryan and Paola Campos — Campos a proud native of Puebla, Mexico. The duo launched as a food truck/pop-up in February 2024, sourcing beans from hammerhand-coffee-liberty, then took over 4010 Pennsylvania Ave (the former Westport Coffeehouse, a decades-old neighborhood institution), bringing a new energy to one of Westport’s most mourned closures.

Description

Chambre Coffee opened at 4010 Pennsylvania Ave in Westport in May 2025, taking over the corner previously occupied by Westport Coffeehouse, whose closure after decades was widely mourned. Co-owners Joseph Ryan and Paola Campos — Campos a native of Puebla, Mexico — built their brand first as a food truck and pop-up beginning February 2024, sourcing beans from hammerhand-coffee-liberty, before securing the Westport brick-and-mortar. Westport’s official TikTok welcomed them with a dedicated video, and KC Star and KC Daily both covered the opening. The café continues Westport’s tradition of specialty coffee on its corner of Pennsylvania Ave.

Ownership and history

Joseph Ryan and Paola Campos launched Chambre Coffee as a pop-up/truck in February 2024. Campos, a native of Puebla, Mexico, is a co-founder and co-operator.¹ They built a following through the truck before signing the lease at 4010 Pennsylvania Ave — the former Westport Coffeehouse space.
