Craft Putt was a locally owned indoor mini-golf taphouse concept with Kansas City–metro locations (Lee’s Summit and Overland Park). Custom indoor courses, pub food, craft beer and cocktails, parties/events. Opened May 2025 under owner/CEO AJ Chinn; permanently closed 2026 (both OP and Lee’s Summit; employees told FOX4 they were blindsided). Extremely short-lived entertainment-restaurant concept. Tier 1 independent (closed).12

Description

Craft Putt marketed dual 10-hole indoor courses, elevated pub food, full bar, and event space — “mini golf meets big fun” for mixed skill levels.1 Lee’s Summit and Overland Park operated as the two metro rooms before the dual permanent closure.2

Ownership and history

First-party copy framed the brand as “locally and independently owned.”1 FOX4: owner/CEO AJ Chinn opened the concept May 2025; permanent closure of both Overland Park and Lee’s Summit was announced on a Sunday via social media, with staff saying they had little notice.2
