District 800 is Shannon Moore’s upscale American restaurant at 800 Southwest Blvd, opening in June 2026 in a well-known Westside building that housed La Fonda El Taquito for 37 years before that Mexican mainstay closed earlier in 2026.1 Moore — president of sales at Shaman Botanicals, the manufacturer behind CBD American Shaman — drew the concept from his time in Miami and higher-end spots there such as Papi Steak, aiming for a “classy but vibrant” room with DJs and elaborate, presentation-forward service. He described the transformation as making the longtime taquería “look like a completely different building.”1
