Fairway Creamery is a scratch ice cream and donut shop in Fairway Town Center in Fairway, Kansas. The menu centers on small-batch, hand-crafted ice cream made from scratch alongside fresh donuts.12

The shop was originally founded in 2019 by Christopher Elbow — the Liberty, MO–native chocolatier and Elbow Chocolates founder — as an extension of his artisan-confection work into ice cream and donuts. Ali Shirazi was the ice cream maker since the shop opened under Elbow. When Elbow sold in January 2022, the Shirazis purchased it and kept the menu consistent — the transition was a continuity-first ownership change by the team member who had built the product.1

Ali Shirazi and his wife Stephanie have lived in Fairway for 13+ years. They previously co-owned two well-known KCMO restaurants: Westside Local and Shiraz (both in Kansas City, MO). Their third co-owner is Shonda Warner of Farmacorpia Farms in California.1
