Description

Northeast Pizza is a neighborhood pizzeria in Pendleton Heights serving New York-style 16-inch pies — build-your-own or from a menu of specialty pies each named for a local landmark. Noah Quillec grew up in Prairie Village inside his family’s French restaurant orbit (Café Provence, French Market, Verbena) but deliberately chose something accessible and neighborhood-rooted for his own first venture — a slice counter where a pepperoni costs $3.75 and a whole pie feeds a table of friends for $22. He’s lived in Northeast KC for roughly seven years. Executive chef Michael DeStefano came up through DC and Chicago restaurants before landing at Verbena; the French Market chocolate chip cookies that appear on the dessert menu are the one visible thread connecting the family hospitality lineage.
