Originally associated with Schlitz Brewing in its early days, the building has operated continuously as a tavern for over 130 years (reported as the third-oldest tavern in Missouri). Today it functions as both a classic neighborhood bar and a small brewery, with owner/brewmaster Keith Hudson crafting German-style beers that incorporate the town’s famous mineral waters.
