Buttonwood Art Space is an art gallery at 3013 Main Street, at the southern edge of the Crossroads Arts District atop historic Union Hill.1 A member of the Crossroads Arts District, it presents rotating exhibitions of local and regional artists on weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.) and participates in the district’s arts calendar.12

Ownership and history

Buttonwood Art Space is provided through the philanthropic dedication of Jon and Wendy McGraw and Kansas City’s Buttonwood Financial Group, LLC — a locally owned KC firm — making it a KC-rooted, business-sponsored gallery rather than a chain or transplant.1
