Description

Chaz on the Plaza is the signature restaurant of The Raphael Hotel, a Historic Hotels of America-member landmark hotel located adjacent to Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza at 325 Ward Parkway. The current operation began in February 2009 when the Raphael’s earlier signature restaurant (which opened in 1976) was transformed and renamed “Chaz on the Plaza.”¹²

The cuisine is American — prime steaks, fresh seafood, seasonal dishes highlighting both classic technique and modern flavor. The operation features nightly live jazz + local musicians paying homage to Kansas City’s rich musical heritage. Chaz received its first Wine Spectator Award in 2012.
