Do Drop Inn is a small neighborhood bar on the east side of downtown Lee’s Summit’s Main Street, occupying a former chiropractic office that owner Justin Bliefnik had bought years earlier. The room leans hard into a 1960s and ’70s corner-tavern look: vintage beer signage, vinyl swivel chairs, classic bar stools, and original memorabilia carried over from the historic Do Drop Inn, including vintage Schlitz advertisements.12

The bar sits directly beside Stuey McBrew’s, which Bliefnik also owns, and the two share kitchen facilities. As of opening, Do Drop Inn ran limited hours (Fridays and Saturdays, 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.), with plans to expand once food service began.1

Ownership and history

The name honors the original Do Drop Inn, a downtown Lee’s Summit fixture that operated for roughly 58 years under Sue Pfeiffer’s ownership before closing; that location was at 22 SW 3rd St and is now closed.13 Bliefnik sought and received Sue Pfeiffer’s permission before reusing the name for the new bar, and folded in memorabilia from the original to preserve the connection.1 The revival opened in March 2026.2

Food service was planned rather than fully live at opening, built around quick, casual items — hot dogs, chopped cheeses, and chopped Italians — prepared through the shared Stuey McBrew’s kitchen. for a confirmed live menu.1
