Description

Guy’s Deli opened January 10, 2022 inside Kelly’s Westport Inn — the historic Westport bar at 4058 Pennsylvania Ave — replacing the locally renowned Joe’s Pizza By The Slice when Joe Addington retired in 2021. Owner Andy Miller launched Guy’s Deli immediately on the retirement announcement.12

Guy’s Deli is connected to the broader Guy’s Snacks brand, which traces to Guy Caldwell, a Kansas City WWII veteran who returned home and purchased a home-sized peanut roaster. By 1948, Caldwell was distributing peanuts + potato chips throughout his neighborhood. Andy Miller took ownership of the Guy’s Snacks brand operations in 2014.3 Guy’s Deli is part of this broader Guy’s Snacks-family operation.

The Plaza Provisions food hall (opened Aug 2025) includes a Guy’s Deli & Pizza vendor presence per the food hall’s listed vendor lineup.
