Description

HullHouse Coffee is a family-owned coffee shop and small-batch roaster in Kansas City’s Northland, at 434 NW Legacy Dr in the Woodstone building of Metro North Crossing.12 Opened in November 2023 by John and Kim Hull, it roasts its coffee in-house and is built around an inclusion mission — providing employment and community belonging for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.13 The concept was inspired by the Hulls’ son Charlie, who has an intellectual disability and works the front of house as the shop’s “Ice Man.”3
