Description

Jack Zheng moved from the Bay Area to Kansas City around 2005 to work at a sushi restaurant and has been in the KC dining scene since. The concept is a customizable ramen format: guests choose from straight or wavy noodles, one of five broths, a protein (chicken, beef, vegetable, pork belly, or kimchi), and toppings including red ginger, corn, and bamboo shoot, with seaweed and boiled egg in the base. Bowls were priced at $10.95 (small) and $12.95 (large) at opening. The Zhengs also operate Pokesan Sake Bar & Lounge on the second floor of the same building.
