Nour’s is a Lebanese restaurant and community gathering space in Midtown Kansas City’s Park 39 development, opened in June 2025 by veteran KC chef-restaurateur Marwan Chebaro. Independent and chef-owned, it is named in memory of Chebaro’s daughter Nour (“light and radiance” in Arabic), who died in 2018. It is not affiliated with Fox and Pearl or chef Vaughn Good — the shared-phone premise in the source seed was incorrect (see Verification status detail).
Description
Nour’s showcases native Lebanese cuisine and culture while functioning as a community gathering space. Chef-owner Marwan Chebaro describes the concept as “chef-driven, but we also want it to be community-driven.”1 The 3,800-square-foot ground-floor restaurant seats roughly 45 in the dining room with about 100 more on the patio and at the bar, and includes a grab-and-go area and a makers’ market featuring local and Lebanese specialty products, wine, and art.21
The name Nour means “light and radiance” in Arabic and honors Chebaro’s daughter, who died in 2018 at age 29; the restaurant includes a small shrine to her and invites patrons to bring mementos of their own loved ones.21 As part of its community mission, Nour’s hosts on-site markets, including Amish growers from Stanberry, Missouri (Tuesdays) and Gordie’s Heirlooms (Saturdays), and partners with local makers such as Broadway Roasting Co. (coffee) and Blackhole Bakery (pastries and bagels).1
The restaurant occupies space in Park 39, the mixed-use development on the former Plexpod Westport Commons campus at 39th Street and Warwick Boulevard in Midtown Kansas City, roughly two blocks from the KC Streetcar’s Main Street line. The block sits at the eastern edge of the 39th Street “restaurant row” corridor.21

Marwan Chebaro is a multi-decade Kansas City restaurant-industry veteran with deep roots in the Midtown / 39th Street dining scene, where he previously owned establishments including Cafe Rumi.1 About a dozen years before Nour’s, he shifted from public-facing restaurants to corporate dining concepts through Culinary Innovations LLC; the pandemic prompted his return to public dining.21 Nour’s is independently owned by Chebaro. Park 39 itself is owned/managed by The Brain Group and Mercier Street, and the interior remodel was handled by designer John O’Brien (Hammer Out Design) — these are landlord and design relationships, not ownership of the restaurant.1
No corporate parent, franchise, or private-equity relationship is indicated. In April 2026 the owners of Nour’s were reported to be opening a second 39th Street concept — a Lebanese-Mexican taqueria.5 — relationship structure of the second concept not fully confirmed on this pass.
