a multi-vendor food hall inside the Cascade Hotel (a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property) on the Country Club Plaza, relaunched August 2025 after the Strang Chef Collective closed. The hotel runs the hall in-house under Director of Outlets Eric Willey, with local-brand vendor concepts and two full-service bars. Tier 3 — hotel-operated (disclosure overlay).
Description
Plaza Provisions is a multi-vendor food hall on the ground/mezzanine levels of the Cascade Hotel (a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property) on the Country Club Plaza, at 4620 Wornall Rd.123 It relaunched on August 25, 2025 after the previous Strang Chef Collective food hall closed in December 2024; the hotel brought operations in-house, hiring Eric Willey (its Director of Outlets) to lead a curated lineup of established local-brand concepts plus two full-service bars.12
⚑ Ownership disclosure: Although the individual vendors are strong KC operators, Plaza Provisions itself is operated in-house by the Cascade Hotel (Marriott Tribute Portfolio) — not an independently owned food-hall collective. The vendors are concepts within the hotel-run hall.2 This places the parent record at Tier 3.
