Renditions is a Polish-pottery shop at 522 Main Street in downtown Weston, Missouri, selling Manufaktura stoneware imported from Boleslawiec as the factory’s exclusive Midwest agent, and named in KCUR’s 2024 Weston guide as a place to source handcrafted goods.
Description
Renditions occupies a storefront at 522 Main Street in Weston, a Platte County river town on the Missouri side of the Kansas City metro — not Weston, Florida, and not Weston, Massachusetts.1 The About and Contact pages both print that street number as “522 Main,” Weston, MO 64098, with the shop email info@renditionsweston.com and phone (816) 640-2300.21 It sits a few doors from northland-artists-gallery at 519 Main Street. The two are separate businesses: Northland Artists’ is a juried artist cooperative; Renditions is a dealer and Midwest distributor of imported Polish stoneware. This page is not a second write-up of that gallery.
The shop’s own About page states that it is “the exclusive Midwest Agent for Manufaktura Polish Pottery imported directly from Boleslawiec, Poland,” and that new shipments arrive every few months. It currently claims “more than 50 patterns and over 60,000 pieces of stoneware in stock” and “fourteen Exclusive Patterns, many designed by us, which are made solely for Renditions and our retailers.”2 The homepage, fetched the same day, instead advertises “Currently over 71,000 pieces of Polish Pottery in stock!” and a virtual tour of the shop.3 Those two first-party counts are not merged. A claimed Yelp “About the Business” blurb uses a third pair — “more than 45 patterns” and “over 70,000 pieces.”4 Visitor reviews commonly cite “84 patterns”; that figure is a reviewer’s count, not a first-party inventory statement.5
Pattern grades, per the first-party Patterns page: Traditional, UNIKAT, Signature, Premier (the last “made exclusively for Renditions”), Exclusive, Garden Line, and a Blossom Series. Premier pieces are signed by the artist and stamped Renditions Exclusive.6 Manufaktura itself is described on a Renditions page as a privately owned Boleslawiec factory established in 1993; that is the factory’s founding year, not the shop’s.7
The same first-party site is also a wholesale desk. The retailers page states that Renditions “receives orders directly from Manufaktura three or four times each year,” sells through the Weston shop and online, and distributes to other shops, and it invites new retailers by the same Weston phone and email.8 U.S. customs records list “Renditions Polish Pottery” at 522 Main, Weston, as an importer whose principal partner is Manufaktura w Bolesławcu, with a sample pottery container arriving 5 December 2025.9
KCUR’s 14 September 2024 beginner’s guide to Weston named the shop, alongside northland-artists-gallery and weston-bend-candle-company, as a place to “source handcrafted items for yourself or to gift” — “Polish pottery from Renditions.”10 The shop also hosts an annual Polish Pottery Festival inside the storefront and on Main and Short Streets; first-party copy for Saturday 8 May 2027 bills it as the 13th Annual festival, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.11 Visit Platte County listed the 11th Annual edition on 10 May 2025 at the same address.12 If the numbering is consecutive, the first festival would fall in 2015; that is a latest-possible-start bound for the festival, not a founding year for the shop, and is not treated as one.
This is Weston, Missouri, not a second location. No other owned storefront is published on the pages fetched. Other towns appear only as independent retailers who buy from Renditions.
Ownership and history
First-party pages do not name an owner or a founding year. “ for both as first-party facts. Named people and dates from other sources are printed, not merged.
- 7 August 2003 — the domain renditionsweston.com was registered. WHOIS still lists the registrant street as 522 Main St, Weston, MO 64098-1249, phone +1.8166402300, email info@renditionsweston.com. A domain creation date is not a storefront founding year.13
- 22 May 2004 — the Internet Archive CDX index records HTTP 200 captures of http://www.renditionsweston.com/ from this date. Page content was not retrieved in this pass (the Archive was temporarily offline). A live domain is not by itself a shop-open date.14
- 14 April 2009 — Yelp’s first review of the Weston shop describes Arts & Crafts goods (tiles, stencils, Frank Lloyd Wright, furniture, art glass) and “a huge showroom filled with Polish Pottery,” and thanks “the store owners” in the plural, unnamed.4
- 16 July 2014 / last modified 10 April 2018 — Visit Missouri’s civic listing still describes Renditions as an Arts & Crafts home-accessories shop (Stickley/Hile, Ephraim Faience, Motawi and Porteous tiles, copper mica lamps, Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Dard Hunter) with “our latest addition, hand-painted Polish Pottery.” That copy was last modified in 2018. Current first-party pages describe only Polish pottery. The two identities are not collapsed; the civic listing is recorded as stale relative to the 2026 first-party site.152
- 15 January 2019 — the Weston Chamber of Commerce highlighted “Renditions Polish Pottery Shop” as a wholesale-and-retail Midwest agent for Manufaktura, then claiming “more than 40 patterns and 20,000 pieces in stock at all times,” and placing the festival on the second Saturday of June. Stock counts and the festival month both differ from 2026 first-party pages (May, not June; 60,000–71,000 pieces, not 20,000). Printed, not merged.16
- 27 February 2024 — a Rosie’s Auction House YouTube short filmed inside the shop introduces “Christine the owner.” First-party pages do not use that name. The vlog is a single informal identification, first name only, and is not treated as a verified ownership record.17
- A first-party product video on the shop’s own YouTube channel is presented by “Zofia with Renditions Polish Pottery.” She is not described as owner.18
- A third-party NAICS directory lists Renditions of Weston, LLC at 522 Main St, Weston, MO 64098 (NAICS 459420). Missouri Secretary of State lookup was not available (Cloudflare challenge), so the LLC name is not independently confirmed from SOS, the organizer is unnamed here, and the directory’s “operating for over 2 years” line is discarded — it contradicts the 2009 review and the 2003 domain. A St. Louis Renditions, Inc. (hair salon, Watson Road) is a different firm and is not this shop.19
Jeff / Christine / Zofia / “store owners” are not collapsed into one identity. Zofia is named as on-camera staff; Christine is named only in the 2024 vlog; the 2009 review is plural and unnamed.
