Sabor Express

Sabor Express is a two-sister drinks-and-snacks counter in Suite C at 115 Main St in historic downtown Parkville — boba milk teas, matcha, fruit teas, smoothies, Vietnamese coffee and aguas frescas, with a short food board (a “Sabor fried rice,” shrimp-taco combos) that changes with the week. It surfaced in mid-2026 in the suite Express Boba had occupied, and Main Street Parkville still lists it as “coming soon.” Its tagline: “Where culture comes together.”

Description

Sabor Express operates from Suite C of 115 Main St, a storefront on the main commercial block of Parkville’s riverfront downtown, between English Landing Park and the Park University hill.¹ Its Instagram bio is the whole mission statement: “Two sisters serving drinks — Where culture comes together.”¹

The drinks list, from the account’s highlights and posts, covers milk teas with boba, matcha builds (a “Strawberry Cloud Matcha,” a “Purple Rain Matcha”), fruit teas, smoothies, “energy infusion” drinks, Vietnamese coffee, collagen-protein drinks and aguas frescas in mango, pineapple, watermelon and cucumber.¹ The food side is small and rotating: a “Sabor fried rice” with chicken, egg, peas and carrots ($9.50) in early July 2026; a Friday “Cinco de Mayo combo” of three shrimp tacos with pico de gallo and a large agua fresca ($16) in late July; an ice-cream-and-cereal dessert build in August.¹

The Compiler’s brief described the concept as Colombian, with a chicken-and-rice plate. Nothing on the public account uses the word Colombian, and the dishes posted so far (fried rice, shrimp tacos, aguas frescas) do not settle the question either way; the cuisine label is left generic until the owners say.

Ownership and history

The business is run by two sisters; their names do not appear on the account, the storefront listing or anywhere else found.¹

The suite has a short recent history. Express Boba — a boba, smoothie and slushie shop — operated from “115 Main St Suite C, Parkville” with its own Facebook page, phone (816) 214-8041 and a small following (85 followers, five reviews).² Sabor Express’s Instagram begins June 19, 2026 at the same suite, and Main Street Parkville’s dining directory carries “Sabor Express — Coming Soon” as a placeholder entry.¹³ Whether Sabor Express is a rebrand of Express Boba under the same owners, or a new tenant that took over the suite, is not documented. KSHB’s spring 2026 story on Parkville’s downtown “surge” — Needlepoint House, Ave and Liv, Larkin Home, Typo’s Bookstore — did not mention either shop.⁴
