Artego Pizza has been a 39th Street fixture since late 2014 — a wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant co-founded by Joe Perez, a former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman, who built out the space himself with recycled wood walls and a reclaimed steel bar.
