Description

Hemma Hemma Dinette is Ashley Bare’s second restaurant — a downtown Kansas City diner concept that opened March 5, 2026 in the Lightwell Building at 1100 Main Street, taking the former Strang Chef Collective space. Where the Waldo flagship Hemma Hemma has “grandma chic” energy, Bare designed the Dinette as the “cool aunt chic” sibling — a diner-format breakfast and brunch destination open daily 8am to 4pm with table-service weekend brunch.
