Love, Coffee was created by the team behind Martin City Brewing Company. MCBC was founded in 2011 by Matt Moore and his sailing friend Chance Adams; Moore grew up in the Kansas City restaurant business — his family owned the KC steakhouse staple Jess & Jim’s, where he worked from age ten — before becoming a homebrewer and turning a vacant Martin City building into the brewery.³ The “All the Love” founding team is described as including MCBC’s owner alongside its head of brewing operations, market manager, and creative director.²
