Thai Story is Niramol “Ann” Riensin’s Thai restaurant in Overland Park — a rebrand and relocation of her original Pad Thai Restaurant, which she opened in 2013. Over 13 years Pad Thai Restaurant built a loyal following strong enough that weekend waits reached one hour. In August 2025 Riensin announced she would move to a new 3,600 sq ft space at Lionsgate Marketplace (143rd St & Metcalf Ave, Overland Park), rebranding the concept as Thai Story while keeping Pad Thai’s signature dishes alongside new modern-twist plates.
