Emilie’s French Teas is an owner-run French tea room at 8131 Wornall Rd in Waldo, opened in 2017 by Emilie Jackson (with her husband Alex) to recreate the tea-room afternoons she spent with her mother in France. A quiet, deliberately unplugged tea room on the south end of the Waldo corridor. The menu runs to more than 50 loose-leaf teas spanning cultures, plants, and intended benefits, served with fresh-baked French pastries. The space is decorated with French music, books, rich drapery, and photographs from tea sites abroad, and offers optional infrared sauna sessions as an add-on — a wellness-forward pairing that reflects the shared building with Centered Spirit Holistic Center.

Ownership and history

Owner Emilie Jackson founded the tea room in 2017, modeling it on the French tea rooms she visited with her mother while living in France. She runs it with her husband, Alex.
