Ownership and history

Front Range is the coffee concept of Made in KC, the locally owned KC company founded by Keith Bradley, Thomas McIntyre, and Tyler Enders; it operates an all-local coffee program.³ The first Front Range Coffeehouse & Provisions opened in 2019 in Fairway, Kansas, and this Waldo–Brookside location at 400 E Gregory Blvd followed in 2022.³ It is also listed under the “Front Range Coffeehouse & Provisions” name in the Waldo KC directory.⁴⁵

Front Range publishes its full menu first-party as six designed boards on its own site. No price appears on any of the six boards, and no prices are published anywhere else first-party, so this section is recorded as partial. Items and descriptions below are reproduced from those boards.⁶ The menu is chain-wide across the Front Range locations except where a board says otherwise.

Description audit (2026-08-13). Every board image was re-downloaded and re-read line by line, and every description already on this page was checked against the board it came from. All of them are verbatim first-party board copy; none were corrected or removed. The unusual renderings are the operator’s own — the tea board really does read TEA FOGHUGO as one line, and the “14 er” spacing is the board’s.

Description ceiling. The boards are the only first-party menu Front Range publishes: the site has no online-ordering storefront, no PDF menu, and no per-item pages, and the joe.coffee listing is a directory entry with no itemized menu.⁵ The Internet Archive is not a usable second source here — the site is a JavaScript-rendered Squarespace build, /menu was never captured, and Wayback playback of the homepage re-fetches today’s live assets rather than serving historical copy. The items that remain name-only — drip and espresso basics, teas, smoothies, paninis, draft and packaged beer, and the wine list — carry no description on the board itself; they are name-only in the operator’s own menu, and adding copy for them would mean inventing it. This section is therefore at its honest first-party ceiling for descriptions.

The official Kansas City (Waldo/Brookside) location page names several items in running prose that appear nowhere on the six menu boards. They are first-party copy on the operator’s own domain and are recorded here as items named, not as a priced or described menu; the location page gives no price and no composition for any of them.⁷

• Chorizo quiche — the location page names it, with the biscuit sandwiches, as one of “the two things people ask for by name” at the morning rush.
• KC Caramel Delight — described only as having “genuine devotees.”
• Honey pistachio latte — the location page says it “comes back seasonally,” so it is not a year-round item and does not appear on the Signature Drinks board.
• Ice cream — the location page notes “there’s ice cream, which surprises everyone”; customer reviews on the joe.coffee listing independently mention ice cream.⁵
• Large cold brew — “comes with a free refill,” per the location page. The Basics board lists Cold Brew but does not mention the refill.

Also from the location page, as room information rather than menu: the back bar at this location is called The Lodge, a name the page says customers gave it, and the location page states it is a full bar carrying local beer and spirits alongside national brands.⁷
